Saints Row The Third
Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobble head dolls all available at a store near you. The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to Steelport, a once-proud metropolis reduced to a struggling city of sin under Syndicate control. Take a tank skydiving, call in a satellite-targeted airstrike on a Mexican wrestling gang, and defend yourself against a highly-trained military force using only a sex toy in the most out- landish gameplay scenarios ever seen, igniting a city-wide war that will set Steelport on fire. i have played both sr3 is a game own its with a lil gta in the game well sleeping dogs looks like a 3rd true crime game every open world game thats not gta will always be compared to it sr3 comes close but is so much more

sr3 is very awsome but gta iv got 10.10 and sr3 got 9.25 < and i hate that but i knoe rock star tried there best to make gta a very rocking high flying and putting it hard they tried there best on putting it in real life

Now, I know a lot of people swear by the Grand Theft Auto franchise, myself included, but don't let that keep you away from one of the best open-world experiences available. Giant purple...toys..?, can be entertaining, but this game is so much more than that. Tight controls, fast and fun driving, combat that is over the top but still requires a decent amount of strategy, and a story to win them all make this game a must buy for any sandbox fan. The customization and upgrade system give this game an almost RPG-level depth that is second to none. No two games will be exactly alike including customization, upgrades and skills, and the choices the player makes throughout the story, all making huge differences almost demanding a second, third, or fourth playthrough just to see everything. This is the Skyrim of crime games right now, and is not to be missed. Though, I have to admit my one gripe. the complete lack of multiplayer is disappointing. Though more importantly, I bought the game used, excluding me from co-op due to an activation code. Thought that was EA's area of expertise?

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
It includes hours of enjoyable game play and miscellaneous activities, but it isn't the best. The graphics for one thing are less than average, and the driving is terrible. It's as if there's no gravity. I had fun beating the short campaign but then after finishing the game 100% and getting a platinum trophy, I haven't touched it since.

This game is awesome! Graphics are good, gameplay is awesome, and it never gets old! Besides having the main story plot, there are many side missions to undertake. I really like the character customization. I don't recommend spending extra money on the online access code, online really isn't worth it unless your going to play the mission with a friend.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
Where to begin? I don't believe there has ever been such an insane game. The customization is incredible as is the hilarity of it all. Saints Row starts with a bank robbery yet this is only scratching the surface of the things you do in this game. The thing that really stood out to me was the customization. For example you can change the tires rims colors and glass on any vehicle in Steelport if you bring it back to the shop. You can also upgrade/change guns, yourself, and your gang as you rise to the top. The story isn't bad either. You start off in the city with nothing and gradually you begin to take over by completing story missions and also doing optional things such as buying up properties, completing challenges, and protecting your gang with a helicopter. All in all it took me about 30 hours to take over every island. The action is pretty great. You can unleash total chaos with a number of guns and vehicles. Graphics are also good, but nothing great. There is a reason this game is rated M, the missions and people are absolutely insane which is a good thing.

Saints Row The Third is a well crafted return to the world of the Saints. The storyline, as always with Saints games, is merely a distraction from the great fun you can have terrorizing Steel Port and its gangs. The best mission has to be the comical recreation of Tron into a foul-mouthed murder-spree that has the main character appear as a toilet with an energy cannon. The overall quality of both graphics and sound has improved but still has much to be gained compared to most 3rd generation games. The ability to customize aspects of the game has been severely diminished compared to Saints Row 2, and the melee combat system is not as dynamic as it used to be. These facts do little to detract from the great fun and shenanigans. The co-op system is still very good, and the added "Whored" mode is very entertaining. What this game lacks in a serious story, it well makes up for with gameplay. Overall, Saints Row The Third should provide all with a hilarious distraction from so much seriousness.

Ok, I really do NOT like Saints Row TT. I pre-ordered. When they were talking about SR TT, they neglected to mention that Volition would be REMOVING things like layering, and half the guns and story from SR2, to add a giant YouKnowWhat (That is considered bad language) bat I never used. If you have not played Saints Row 2, then it may be an OK game. If you have, it is so watered down, and you have to PAY to play one of the major aspects of the game- Co-op. That's THQ for you. They deserve to go bankrupt for doing this to a series like Saints Row. Kept me happy for 2 missions, lasted me about 20 hours, including the hours of messaround time. Both endings feel out of place. Get a dirty apartment, THQ, because that's where you belong- And maybe you won't be able to customise it, just like in Saints Row, TT!
