NBA 2K12 was not much of a big step from 2K11, but it's still great. Gameplay is a little off, scoring is still good, but the stealing occurs more often. The sound is exceptional. The graphics are very smooth, but some of the face models are morphed. There is many game modes to keep you playing.
I enjoy this game but what I loved to do with 2k11 was take the classic players and place them with the present players and begin a season. For some reason though all I can do with these classic players is play the challenges or have an exhibition match. I WANT A SEASON WITH MOSTLY CLASSIC PLAYERS MOST IMPORTANTLY MICHAEL JORDAN!!!

every thing is perfect except there is no slam dunk contest or 3 point shoot out which stinks be cause I loved those events on the other nba live and 2k games in years past that's something 2k has to upgrade has to upgrade in the next year

I have always been a fan of this series, but the newest installment is the best so far. The players and movements are so lifelike that you almost forget it is a game. Even my girlfriend enjoys watching this game, and she hates real basketball. I recommend messing with the AI and setting it just right so that you have a competitive game. The only bad thing I can say is that if you don't set the AI right, the game cheats and plays stupid. If you have a 3D television, this game really is fun to play. The depth and the animations really add to this game. The classic teams are very real and they even present the game in a style that is similar to the era in which it was played.

NBA 2K12 is an overall great game. The franchise is the best of the 2k games. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys basketball games.
