a terrible game... you tend to miss easy layups, uncontested shots, and get rejected every time when you take it to the rack... if you can. A common problem is getting past defendersm, i tried to get past toney douglas with lebron but got the ball stolen from me every time. i also pass the ball and it is turned over a lot... stick to 2k11 or my favorite 2k9

BEST GAME EVER!

best game i have ever played. My player is awesome, songs are sick, graphics are outstading, and i once played it for 9 hours straight!
NBA 2K12 is even better than its predecessor, NBA 2K12. The GAMEPLAY is more of the same but its more faster and realistic at the same time. I notice that when you play the game, each team and player play by how they play in real life and when you play the legends like MJ, they play even better. The only thing they improved were 15 more legends such as Patrick Ewing, Julius Erving (Dr. J.), Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Scottie Pippen and more. For players who are not much into basketball games you can always customize the options such as the quarter length and difficulty and sometimes i get annoyed by the fouls so i try to not reach in all the time but thats just me. What i like is this My Player mode and nba create a legend where you can create your player and you will be recruited to a team and you have missions asking you to do certain things like in the make 3 more shots before the quarter ends and you get a grade showing how great you play than you get a press conference and than you pick which answer suits you and you have to choose wisely for the fans, players, and conference reaction either good, in between, and bad reactions. You also get to play NBAS greatest and you play as each of the legends and relive the moments. gdetailed that there is more swat and i notice when i go to the instant replay, the lights reflect on the players in the courts and not only that the PRESENTATIONS look like you are actually watching a NBA game and they improved the stadium intros and the scenes. The SOUND has good commentarys and the best music especially "Basketball" by Kurtis Blow and the son is also on the intro. You can also use playlists for the game like if you are about to make a shot you will hear a song from your playlist for each team. The LASTING APPEAL i would recommend it. Create a player and customizing your options like NBA rules and presentations and all thes other new gampleay features make the game accessible especially with 15 more legends that make it even funner. I enjoy it so much that i haven't played a NBA 2k game since 2K11 and 2K3, if i were you i get this game because it is one of the best sports games i've ever played. Its good for Hardcore gamers, casual gamers, and kid gamers. For those that are not into much of sports games try to customize the options like less quarter length better ball handling and faster gameplay and so on but if i were you, get this game.
After 2k11 I wondered if 2k12 could get any better and like all new game releases I had my doubts. Well not to worry, 2k12 delivered again. It has even more throwback teams this year and it really gives a great feeling of how the NBA has evolved over the last 50 years and the graphics and gameplay compliment it perfectly. Over 30 throwback teams with complete rosters and bench players. All the players in this game old school and new school look and play very realistic, its pretty amazing. The game has a lot of small tweaks since 2k11- like its easier to steal the ball this year without constantly fouling. If you're new to the series and wanna give it a try, play for a few days until you get the hang of the game. Don't expect to play for the first time and run down court and dunk over the whole team with amazing passes everywhere. Overall an amazing sports title.
