As you would expect, the first thing fans will notice about Sonic Generations is just how many references to past titles are included here. The amount of fanservice is simply staggering - from collectible artwork, alternative music from Mega Drive, Saturn and Game Boy Advance eras, references to 'Chao in Space' and characters such as Mighty the Armadillo, Ray the Squirrel and Fang the Sniper, this game has it all.
this game is the best sonic game i have ever played but i only have one problem the game was too short all of that fun boosting or spindashing only lasted a little i hope they make a sequel
Sonic Generations traces key moments in Sonic's history. In Sonic Generations, you will revisit great stages from Sonic's past, such as Green Hill Zone and Chemical Plant Zone. You also get to play levels from Sonic's more infamous games such as Crisis City from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) or Rooftop Run from Sonic Unleashed, but these levels are incredibly crafted. You get two acts for each stage, where you choose to play as 'Classic" Sonic and play 2D, or as "Modern" Sonic and play 3D that changes into 2D and back. The sense of speed is incredible, just as it should be in a Sonic game. The Boss battles are memorable boss battles from previous Sonic games. Sonic Generations also includes outstanding remastered versions of original music, which will bring nostalgia to any Sonic fan that's been with him since the beginning. The graphics are so vibrant and colorful that you will probably die a couple of times looking at the detail of the environment in the background than the enemies right in front of you. There are rivals to battle, side missions, and "hard mode" versions of boss battles to keep you occupied after the main game is completed. The stages are fun to play over and over to try to beat you best score. There is also bonus content to unlock, such as concept art and more music that you can play during the action stages. Although this is an outstanding game, it has a few cons, such as some of the side missions seem pointless and can be frustrating. Other than this, Sonic Generations is a wonderful Sonic game that makes Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) almost forgivable.
this is by far the best sonic game to date. It has all the fun and challenge of the classic sonic and the hyper speed and stunts of the new sonic. I love how you can experience all the stages of the new sonic stages with the old and the old sonic stages with the new. Its a beautiful combination of old and new that sonic fans and even those who aren't should play. This game is purely awsome!

This game has levels from arguably the greatest courses in Sonic history. I preordered this game last summer, and when I play it, I'm just taken in awe of what a great comeback Sega has pulled out. I've been a Sonic fan since birth, and this is a great game to make up for the less popular games such as Unleashed and Colors. I loved this game, a must have for true Sonic fans
The game is great. If your a fan of sonic get it. I've played the computer version of sonic before. This is way better. The game is fun but if you don't play E or E10+ games any more and think there boring the games not for you. Honestley I don't get that many E or E10+ games any more but I do get some like sonic genarations and lego games. The games great though.
this marks 20 years of Sonic the Hedgehog. This game will bring classic and modern Sonic's together, and goes back into the years of him. Since this is the first time, will it be the last time we see sonic?? If this is the case, I don't agree with it. At least 5 more years of Sonic, then make your last game. But the game looks good.
