They should put Sonic Generations on the Xbox 360 and PS3 because they never made a Sonic game in a LONG time for the Xbox 360 and PS3.The only games they made were Sonic Unleashed,Sonic The Hedgehog(2006),Sonic and SEGA All Stars Racing,Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection,Sonic Adventure,Sonic The Hedgehog 4,Sonic & Knuckles,Sonic The Hedgehog 2,Sonic The Hedgehog 3,and Sonic The Hedgehog.

I played a demo of this for PS3, but this looks better. This Christmas I hope I can get a Xbox 360 and get this game, so wish me luck.

I thought this was supposed to be on Xbox live and not in a disc form. Thank you God for this in disc form and not downloadable because I don't have Xbox live. This is going to be the best sonic game ever. Hands down. No ifs, ands, or buts. Classic & modern Sonic, AWESOME.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
This game brought back everything us Sonic fans wanted. Fast gameplay with nice graphics and less glitches than seen in Sonic The Hedgehog 2006. The nostalgia was also seen so much by running through old levels from previous games recreated. This game was extremely worth it.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
Finally, Sonic Team has come up with their best game in a while. In my opinion, their last decent game was Sonic Heroes and my absolute favorite game is Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. I love the fact that you can experience all of the levels from the perspective of both past Sonic and future Sonic in their own style of gameplay. To be honest, I like the past Sonic's gameplay a lot more. I'm stuck in the middle-of-the-road between Sonic games, the ones I've played the most and are the best at are the first 3D games (SA, SA2, and Heroes) and I haven't adapted to the new gameplay yet. The controls are perfect... except for one thing, in 3D Sonic stages there's a control that involves you to make sharp turn by pressing a trigger button at a very precise time and I still have yet to get it right. This game with make you feel overly nostalgic as you run through revamped versions of older levels and music. I loved the fact that you can pick what song you want to play during each level. Throughout the game, I had a huge smile on my face as I recognized everything they referenced from the original games. That lasted for 2/3 of the game, but after that, I had no emotion towards the newer levels whatsoever (the ones after Heroes). The story isn't really anything special (like most Sonic games), but the last boss battle and the ending was pretty awesome in how it put everything together. In the end, this game is an awesome novelty with a lot of replay value. The one thing I was disappointed about is that I thought that it would've been cool to play as other Sonic characters like Tails and Knuckles. It's kinda weird that right now, all my friends are playing Call Of Duty and I'm the only one playing an E-Rated game.

I personally loved this game, and it took me back to all the good times I had playing Sonic games. But if you are just getting started with Sonic, I would not recommend this game for you. You just wouldn't understand all of the levels they remade and all of the characters

This game is perfect for: kid gamers
When you think of a sonic game, you usually think of a
fast -paced, action game. Sonic does run fast in this game, but it was still lacking. I am what people would call a die-hard fan, but I felt disappointed with this game. It was a downgrade from Sonic Unleashed. The classsic levels were great, but modern was falling behind. The modern Sonic levels were too short and had too much platforming and 2D segments. The hub world was the same for both classic and modern sonic; it was just a 2D world with no effort put into it. Honestly, I was hoping for more of Sonic Unleashed day level style(boosting through the whole level at blazing speeds with action and well designed levels) rather than what they tried to patch together in Sonic Colors. The day levels in Sonic Unleashed were action-packed and they never became boring. Those levels felt like they lasted a long time and even the 2D segments were thrilling. Honestly, I prefer 3D only with modern and 2D with 2.5D in the classic levels. They did a great job with the graphics, but I felt like they put as much work in as they did with Sonic 2006. In short, the game was too short, too easy, not enough content in the story, the voice actors were better in the past, not too keen on the customization, and a large, open hub world (like in Sonic Adventure 1) would have been better appreciated. I think I can say that were all looking for levels where we can move at blazing speeds, but they last more than three minutes.

This game has lots of potential. But also, it could end up like Sonic 06. We all know what happened to that game. If this turns out to be the next 06, Sonic might be done for. please take your time on this SEGA, and don't let this be Sonic 06 2

Both versions of Sonic Generations are great with the levels they brought back and remixes for the levels music but the game is short and should have more levels from sonic's history and a different, better story plot.

Graphics improved a lot, and smoother, faster gameplay. This is a must buy for gamers out there :3 Get it for your PC or XBOX 360 I recommend those the most for playing this.
