This game is perfect for: casual gamers
Even though I haven't played any Sonic games in years, I absolutely love Sonic Generations. The graphics for each level are amazing and very well done in both Acts 1 and 2. I also like the fun, fast-paced gameplay. With two acts to each level, Sega caters to both modern and classic Sonic fans. It sounds like Sega did things right this time around, based on the reviews I've seen for previous modern Sonic games.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
SEGA has made countless Sonic games in the 20 years. Yet again giving Sonic a great birthday, Saving the World! Bouncing on enemies and dashing at an uncountable speed, Sonic has another adventure to help his friends. You can play both as Original Sonic and Modern Sonic as you venture previous stages or new, uncharted locations. Frequently after you have cleared an Act 1 and 2 of a location, you will defrost an ally, getting one step closer to finishing another world. This game was made more for fans that have supported Sonic since the very beginning, but if you want to be amused and petrified by a talking, fast hedgehog, Sonic Generations is the game just for you!

if your a true sonic and have enjoyed all of the previous games and levels, this game is amazing and incredibly addictive. there are tons of challenges to do and a variety of collectibles to collect. if you love sonic like i do, then this game is clearly worth it.

Best Sonic Game EVER!!! but, it needs DLC

I love this game it's up there with Uncharted and Batman in my opinion but, the only thing that this game lacks is some DLC. The game has a good story and if your a major Sonic fan you'll enjoy some of the old stages like Green Hill, Chemical Plant, and Sky Sanctuary and if your new you might recognize some stages like Planet Wisp, Rooftop Run, and Crysis City. The Boss battles really bring up a lot of memories (I.e Perfect Chaos) and the best part is, is that they are all mostly from old sonic games. If you want to get this for someone as a gift i would recommend it 100%. LONG LIVE SONIC!!!

this is the best sonic game ever. It has both classic and modern sonic! Personally I like modern sonic better. I do do wish it had chao world though, and that modern was all 3D and not side scrolling. thats what classic sonic is for.

I am so excited for this game to be released! Its going back to the traditional side scrolling of the original games on Genesis. I am excited for this realease and I truly hope its better than Sonic Unleashed.

I hope it better be good cause sonic colors took me 5 hours to beat and i got mad when they made a stage 30 seconds long. All the stages must be like starlight carnival act1 where it took me 7 min to beat.

Anyone who loves fast-paced action and hardcore adventure should take the time to buy this game. Although the game may be a bit short, every minute of Sonic Generations is worth it!
