This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
this game is basicaly a flashback of almost every single sonic game, EVER. it is good for sonic fans, and it is also good for people who are new to sonic games. it can show them good sonic games to buy. each level is like a demo of the game it is based off. so new players can play a sample of each sonic game before buying it. but only everything after the death egg robot boss because the levels before this boss are remakes that are very diffrent. but each level after the death egg robot boss, are like demos of games after the perfect chaos boss the levels are almost exactly the same as the other games. good for hardcore sonic fans. first timers should definetly start with this game.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
Lets face it sonic unleashed and sonic colors was decent but we wanted more. well SEGA has done it this time. combining 2 sonics was genius. classic sonic sticks too 2D side scrolling while modern sonic sticks to 2D and 3D and almost like a racing game at times. and the graphics are awesome. even 2 wisps return along with red rings. the only reason it's not the best game for PS3 is there are only 4 bosses.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
After a decade of dissapointing Sonic games Sega finally fixed the issues, and created a great game. The story in this game is simple and without telling any spoilers i will let you know that Sonic was enjoying his birthday with his friends then suddenly the time eater appears out of no where then absorbs all of sonic's friends into these portals, and its your job to rescue them by traveling through iconic levels that made Sonic great in the first place. Even though the levels were great, i would of like to see more classic levels make an appearance, but most were great, except for Crisis City (Sonic 06). I would have like to see more bosses in this game, but yea we only have 3 rival bosses and 4 major bosses. The Classic Sonic levels are great, but are a little tough especially the later levels, but are really fun to play through. The Modern Sonic levels were awesome and fast, but my only problem is that you are gonna be doing alot of 2D side scrolling, and i was a little dissapointed since i wanted strictly 3D segments. The remix songs are enjoyable, and i had no complaints with that part of the game. This game also has alot of collectable items and i had fun doing missions and collecting red rings just to obtain them. This game will be enjoyable to anybody who love Sonic games and even platforming and this game is very replayable.

sonic is back and not in a something worse than sonic 06, sonic 3d blast or sonic r. this games story revolves on modern and classic sonic going through levels from the past. from green hill to planet whisp to be exact. controls are good. story however is a disapointment i thought it could be better. not as good as sonic adventure or sonic adventure 2 but overall it has a special place in my heart.

I love sonic i grew up playing sonic and if they did change his voice before i couldnt tell but they did now and i was mad more like peed off on sonic colors i just hope they rehire the guy that use to play sonic, oh and i miss shadow please bring him and all the other characters back and make a super amy and or cream and cheese probably asking 4 a little to much but watev

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
I really like this game. The gameplay is really good. I really like Modern Sonic's stages. I love playing against the bosses and Rivals. The graphics are really good, however, I would've liked some actual cinematic's like in Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. The stages looked really good. The Soundtrack was awesome, I loved how they had sort of DJ like mixes for City Escape and Crisis City. It's also really fun to go back and play. I only have one basic complaint: It's too SHORT! I just hope Sonic Games are longer than this one in the future. Still, it's a great game!
