I read a preview buzz wondering if any other sonic characters were going to be in sonic generations. i have found out there will be tails, knuckels,amy,and everyone that have been in most of the sonic games.so your guestion is now answered.

I've been a fan of Sonic The Hedgehog since Sonic The Hedgehog 1 (Genesis) and seeing some titles in the past few years, I have feeling we're in for another trip through the Sonic Effect. However the the plot line of having young Sonic and modern Sonic team up to stop who ever is messing up the time line is a nice idea as well as going through some of the older stages some of us grew up with such as Green Hill Zone. Still, some previews and early reviews say this game will be good and I'd like to think that. Good luck Sega.

Tails would be cool if they had classic version of himself! I hope it will be in the game as it is or by DLC. I just hope they have my favorite furry two tailed fox in the game.....

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
I remember getting this and spending countless hours bobbing my head to remixes, destroying robots, and collecting all the hidden goodies. This is a must buy for all Sonic fans, and even if you're not a Sonic fan I can still recommend this awesome game.

Sonic games have been hugely dissapointing as of late; with camera angles that didnt function, floors that Sonic can fall through and control schemes that dont work. To be honest, they have been downright disgraceful. I dont trust anything that has Sonic's name on it. I hope this one breaks that cycle, but i'm not going to spend 60 bucks until i know that this game is worth it.

This game sucks for the most part, the only good parts being the original Sonic game section. The rest of it can be stated as Sonic's steady downfall in parts like Chaos City from the terrible 2006 reboot (why they would include the most unfair and annoying level from that game I have no clue). I enjoyed the first couple levels where you're playing the original games, but after that it's just filled with controller-throwing annoyance.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
All right, My 17 year experience of sonic games. Well, 17 years ago, i got a SEGA Saturn with two saturn games: NiGHTS into Dreams and Sonic 3D Blast, SEGA Saturn version. I think Sonic 3D Blast made me started on me being a Sonic fan for 17 years. I got sonic jam, Sonic R, My top 6 BEST Sonic games: sonic adventure, sonic shuffle, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic generations. Sonic generations was the reason that has levels from the past and the present. It has Green Hill from Sonic the Hedgehog (1991), Chemical Plant from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sky Sanctuary from Sonic the hedgehog 3 & Knuckles / Sonic & Knuckles. Speed highway, from Sonic Adventure / Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut, City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2 / Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and Seaside Hill from Sonic Heroes. City Crisis from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), Rooftop run from Sonic Unleashed and Planet Wisp from Sonic Colors. These are all of the stages that i'm REALLY fimiliar with. Especially the boss battles that i know of, like Death Egg Robot from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Perfect Chaos from Sonic Adventure and Egg Dragoon from Sonic Unleashed. All of those things they put in one game. About sonic Generations, I'll just have to say two things, awesome and very unique. But what's most about this game is the storyline and rival battles. The Challenge stages are difficult that I'm constantly tried to complete it, but it's done. It wasn't easy, though. And i hope they make more sonic games. Sonic Generations is my all-time favorites!!!

I got SONIC GENERATIONS for Christmas 2011 & I couldnt think the second I got it. So I got my PS3, Grabed a controller, & began playing. SEGA did a perfect job for SONIC GENERATIONS!! & I got the PLATINUM TROPHY today. I FREAKED OUT after knowing this was my very 1st PLATINUM TROPHY ever!!! :) & in the future, I hope SEGA does a good job on the rumored SONIC game "SONIC DIMENSIONS" & hope SONIC ADVENTURE 2 will be available on PSN + a PLATINUM TROPHY for SONIC ADVENTURE 2!!!!!!!!!

I loved the "fat sonic" TV show growing up. I loved the classic games. Although colliding both of the Sonics' worlds was a clever way to celebrate the anniversary, it's just another average Sonic game that looks slightly better than the last. There isn't really anything new to be seen here besides the revived, yet recycled story and updated graphics.This game suits only fans of the series or those looking for a revitalized version of the classic games.
