this product has exceeded my original expectations i got this product about six months ago and was very pleased though the design is not so great.
The top frame broke mostly due to my stupidity but it is sturdy considering. I really think that this would be a good idea to first time headset users .

I don't like this item because in one day the tip broke and the two wires were broken at the end. SO CHEAP!

its a pretty good headset I got it and the mic broke when I was raging at cod but if your really stupid you would just throw it away but all you have to do is fix it and it only takes 5 minutes to re solder the wires back together but I recommend taping the wires after soldering them then its practically invincible. otherwise its got great sound and people hear you great. its a good head set for beginners and intermediate players. the sound quality is not better than turtle beach though.

So sometime in early December, I got myself a copy of MW3. Of course, what is the game if you don't have a headset to co-ordinate team attacks online or just general talk smack to intimidate the enemy. The product seemed really good, it's price was within decent range for something that might only get used 2-3 hours a day (compared to other headsets). The design was simple and easy to adjust and adapt to. At first, it worked great, and the length of the cord was long enough for me to still roll to and fro on my chair from my table and PS3. But it did not even take a full month before I started to experience problems with the product. After the first two-three weeks, the headset would randomly stop working, forcing me to unplug and replug it to get it working again. About three days ago, the microphone stopped working all together. The most annoying part is I can still hear through the headset but cannot respond back. In fact, the only reason I am writing this review is because I came on here to see if the 'One Year Warranty' the box advertises is actually true because I plan on using it. Also, I seen that JSarge from Dover, NH had the same problem as me (so it is something that should be addressed). Advice to anyone that does decide to get this product, HOLD ONTO YOUR RECEIPTS. It is a good headset but it is a shame that 2-4 hours every-other-night of use for nearly four weeks is enough to make it useless.

When I went to gamestop today to try to get mine replaced since the mic stopped working they said that I would have to contact the manufacturer, but since i dont have the box I dont know how to and I cant find a website about them, I keep coming up to gamestop.com, so I am going to try to go back to my gamestop and explain this to them to try and see if I can get this all straightened out

ok headset

I bought this headset for my son for xmas, being his first headset I bought this one cheap. Well it did break in Jan, I wound up taping the headset back together but if anyone saved there receipt for it. It does have a 1 yr warranty on it so I brought it back to game stop and they just gave me a new one NO questions asked. Now Im saving for a turtle beach My son is 11 yrs old and says the headset is a junkie one but it works for now.....
