I previously bought all the other Modern Ware-fares upon release date, because of a strong enjoyment I received from these games. After playing MW2, I started to the question the path being made. The online balance from Treyarch started to show promise, while Infinity Wards was degrading somehow. After seeing a Nuke placed in the game, just made me further question things. The game endorsed camping more than I have ever seen. I picked up MW3 preowned to finish the campaign series. While it was a ride, it wasn't top notch story telling. Let me get to the multiplayer. I own BO2 and MW3, and played both back to back. When I play BO2, people who camp for extended periods still exist, and I don't condemn it particularly (especially for snipers) but in MW3, the first 3 games in I was horrified. There was massive groups of people clustering in bushes and corners, waiting minutes at a time to rack up killstreaks. Even when I was playing CTF and Domination, the only interest was still in the singular "I want kills mindset" The balance between weapons was far from perfect as well. No game will have perfect balance, but I actually felt like I had options in BO2. I am glad I waited and paid 16 bucks for this game. I am not saying it isn't enjoyable, but if you play the multiplayer, expect to find campers, boosters, and loud kids. (Nothing new for COD though) The caliber is just greater than in BO2 from my experience.

This game is along the line of black ops . I think the right age is 7-8 . Get this game at game stop . Not that violent just blood no gore not a lot of cussing . If you like war games get all the call of duty,s they are all good i played them all . ALWAYS GET IT AT GAME STOP .

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
I heard that this game was bad. After playingit, I discovered that it is like the other two. That is not bad at all considering that the others were great. This game also explains why key events such as the nuke in COD 4 happened. This is one of the best CODs ever. Don't knock it til you try it.

This game is perfect for: kid gamers
This game, to start, has a nice start to the campaign. It has a nice cinematic gameplay in the campaign. I personally like the story arch too. Survival mode was a cool addition to the Call of Duty series as well. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Though the multiplayer seems to be what draws people to Modern Warfare. The multiplayer is very, very generic. It frequently uses samples from CoD4 and MW2, runs on the same graphics as MW2, and has bleak boring maps. I like maybe two of the 12 default maps. The DLCs are really nothing special. The biggest problem with this game lies with the players. The players are generally younger than 10 and frequently play cheaply. The quickscoping and camping is very frustrating. If you want this game for multiplayer, do not buy this game. If you want this game for the single player, then try it., The single player is worth the 20$. If you won't play it, don't bother. Grab a Black Ops game instead.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
This is the best call of duty by far!!! Very realistic and fun too. Dont listen to any bad reviews but im pretty sure that you wont regret your purchase if you buy this game. It is my favorite COD but I also like COD Black Ops II and COD Black Ops. Also MW2 is pretty cool too. But guys I really like the CODs but you know there are a lot of other awesome games out there. My favorite game is Just Cause 2 just saying.

This is the best CoD yet. Survival Mode is CoD Zombies, but with regular enemies and every single weapon available to purchase. It is so much better. Spec Ops is better than ever, and the campaign is awsome.

Call of duty has yet again launched a great video game. The reasons why people give it low reviews is because they get killed alot and they suck at multiplayer. Okay to start with the campaign... the world has resulted in a new world war because of one man : vladimir makarov from the events that happened in this game's prequel MW2. It is up to your squad to kill him and end the war. The plot was okay and it was what i expected from a call of duty game. It was okay but no Heavy Rain type plot quality. The gameplay is stellar and there is never a dull moment. Ai offers the best that any call of duty has ever provided so in an open fight there is even an option of stealth. Campaign gets a solid 8.5/10. Next is Spec. Ops. You got your regular missions like rescue a hostage or go through an obstacle course. Each mission is flawless and there is no way i can fault it. Also in spec ops is Survival Mode. The concept is to survive as many rounds as possible. The Ai messes this game mode up but not to the point to where it is not playable its still a great time passer. So spec ops gets a 9/10. Finally is the infamous part of every call of duty that has it: Multiplayer. You got skill you will enjoy it. You dont have skill you won't. plain and simple. So i say if everyone can take time and try to get better and stop rage quitting every match than nobody will have a problem. Online multiplayer is balance and the only flaw i would say is the board designs. Also some guns are overpowered but got patched to make it more balanced. Overall excellent and supports split screen online play 9.5/10. So all together call of duty mw3 gets a 9/10 and is one of the best fps ONLY game ever created.

This game is a fantastic game, with brilliant graphics, with brilliant gameplay. There's no Zombies, but there is Special Ops Survival Mode that yougo through several waves of hostiles. The only bad part about this game, is that there is ONLY 3 ACTS OF LEVELS, (SPOILER ALERT) and Soap dies.
