the second i put it on my head it was comfee the charge was full and i was ready to go. the desin beats a turtle beach on so many levels because with the sony headset the ear muffs wont drop. this is a great buy for any gamer

THIS IS THE BEST HEADSET U CAN BY. THE SOUND AND THE MIC ARE GREAT. ALL OF THE SONY STUFF THAT I HAVE BOUGHT HAS BEEN AWESOME

Good value however fragile

I have owned two of these head sets and at first (3 months) no problems. However one day i turned on my PS3 and the USB adapter would not turn on. So i called Sony and they were very helpful they said they would send out a UPS label for me to ship in both the headset and USB. They did so i sent it in with the receipt. They sent me a brand new headset and USB a couple of weeks later. This one is still working six months later, but there is a problem, the headset interferes with the internet signal. So if you want to get a cheap headset this is it but use wired internet and keep the receipt. I have replaced mine with a Turtle Beach Earforce XP300 which is much better since you can sync it with your phone for calls and because it works on both PS3 and 360.

is that what i hear when i have slight glitches in my audio is bcuz of my wi-fi? i tested the range when i first got the headset very good 12 feet if not more from my playstation through walls and and up a story but would glitch when i went 2 far now sometimes i have glitches in my audio but nothing that concerns me

I bought this headset and it has been very good and it has very good quality. i would strongly recommend this to anyone wanting a headset, it also is very easy to setup. just plug the included usb into the playstations usb port and turn it on. no programming required. it has an easy switch between 7.1 dolby surround sound with just a click of a button. also u can choose if u want to listen to more of the game or ur friends with an easy slider control. same thing with the volume control. If you want a good quality headset get this to satisfy your needs in the online gaming community. Hear enemy footsteps and destroy the competition one man at a time! BUY THIS HEADSET, YOU WON'T BE DISAPOINTED!!!
