If you have a ps3 you NEED this. You can access all of your friends and message them. Internet browser, music, PSStore,NEAR to see other psvita players. BTW...If your online on your vita, Ps3 players will see your online, but not what your playing. Psvita KNOWS more about you friends then the ps3 does with other ps3 friends. Psvita can tell you if your friend got a trophy or achieved something...cool, but creepy.Its pricey, but well worth it. 3G is optional if you want it get that version, but you really dont need it. Heres a cool fact that knowone knows (@ least most people) if you have a 3g phone, if you hook it up to it you can use the 3g frm that, SAVED YOU 50$ + the plan...your welcome.BTW PS3 is way better than XBOX. You can do so much more in terms of playing anywhere at anytime. THUMBS UP THIS.

your saying ps vita & ps3 are way better then 360 or any other gaming console out their, all games have thier faults, i have six of the game consoles, 4 console & 3 hand helds, they all have thier faults.

Why would you get this "handheld" if you can do everything it does on PS3? That logic is unbelievable. Handhelds are suppose to have stuff consoles don't, so it makes it's own identity, not just a cheap knock-off clone of one. It's called the Playstation Vita, not a Portable Playstation, I don't get why Sony made the Vita just a clone of the PS3. And PS3 isn't "better" than Xbox, they both have pros on one another, and cons on one another.

When i initially heard about this system i was stoked, everything about it seemed awesome. The only problem i had had with it was the price. The price is high but trust me, its worth every penny! It works perfectly and feels just like a ps3 in my hands! The only thing that i suggest is that you save up a little more money cause it does't come with a game or memory card.

This system is innovating in many ways with 2 analogs and 2 touchscreens. When i first found out about it, I was so excited, and when I got it, I had such a thrill I could barely control myself! I knew a lot about it, but not so much about the running OS. After I learned more and more, and found out things about it, I used it more and more. Near(r) is easy to use and helps keep track of game activity, such as someone purchasing a game you have. Mortal Kombat is just like the ps3 version, granted some modifications. You can still play online, and playing with others privately uses adhoc mode. Overall, I would give this system a 10, with many features and a low chance of errors. Just whatever you do, DON'T TAKE OUT THE MEMORY CARD UNLESS THE SYSTEM IS OFF. this can cause the system or the memory card's data to be corrupted, the system will restart, and (when I did this, learning the hard way) get the blue light of death error. You can find out how to fix this on YouTube, which is rather quick and easy.

when i get it i was doubting spending the $400 (the vita, uncharted, memory stick and a case) but now that ive had for a week, I LOVE IT! i play more then my ps3, and all the apps it has (facebook, netflix, ect) work great! onll reason it doesnt get a 10 is because it will freeze once ina while and the battery life isnt all that, other then that, its a great $400 spent! i recommend Uncharted and Unit 13 as your first 2 games, if you like a sports, get i MLB 12, i have all 3 and all 3 are fun!
