An Outstanding Device! 10 out of 10!
PostedMarch 27, 2012
The PlayStation Vita is an outstanding device. It is fun and entertaining, it has amazing graphics, it has incredible games, it works great, and it is completely worth your purchase. If you are deciding on a portable device to buy, this is the one to get. Out of all the portable devices I have ever played, this one is by far the best. As you are reading this, you may be thinking that I am exaggerating. I can assure you that I am NOT exaggerating. This device is the best gaming experience you can find on a handheld. There are a few reasons why. First, the graphics. The graphics are the best I have ever seen on a portable. It looks like the graphics of a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. The graphics are highly superior to that of smartphones, the PSP, the DS, and the 3DS. It looks amazing for a portable. Second, the online play. The PlayStation Vita is great for online play. Although you would need the 3G Vita to play online on the go, a good amount of the games for the Vita have very good online play. Third, the innovative technology. The Vita has a very responsive touch screen and rear touch pad that add new and fun ways to play video games. The combination of touch, motion, and standard controls provide a fun and entertaining gaming experience like no other. Sure, smartphones have touch screens, but I have found that the Vita is even more fun than a game on a smartphone that uses a touch screen. If you don't like touch screens, however, the Vita may not always be your favorite. This is because you are required to use the touch screen to use the home menu. And many games will have you use the touch screen in some way. Although standard controls are used in most games on the Vita as well, you will find that you will be using the touch screen quite often. I personally like touch screens, but if you do not, then you may find this feature somewhat annoying. If you DO like touch screens, then the Vita is a great option, because the touch screen is used in many fun and entertaining ways. And finally, the overall experience. As I have mentioned, the Vita is the best handheld gaming device I have ever played. I assure you that this device is amazing. The Vita also has other great features: a wide selection of great games, great apps available for download, TWO analog sticks (instead of one), motion controls, and much, much more! There are many more features that make the Vita amazing too, but I won't list them, because this review is already getting very long. You will just have to discover them for yourself. There is something that you will want to consider before buying this, however: the price. The Wifi-only model is $250, while the 3G model is $300. You will also need to buy a memory card. Memory cards are quite expensive in my opinion, and I would recommend getting at least a 16 GB memory card, because smaller sizes will not be enough space. Then there are the games. The games cost around from $30 to $40 each. All of those together, plus accessories (if you need them), will come out to be very expensive. Keep that in mind. Other than that, it is an amazing device, and I would highly recommend it. Sorry about the length of this review, but thanks for taking your time to read it.

Best Handheld Experience Ever
PostedMarch 26, 2012
I purchased the Vita on its release day 2/22/2012. So I have had it for over a month now. To sum it up real quick, this device screams quality. It has a touchscreen, rear touchpad, dual analog sticks and multi-functional buttons. It even has rear and front facing cameras. The build is amazingly sturdy and is the best feeling handheld I have ever had (owned GB Color, GB SP and 1st G DS). The graphics are amazing on this device and I love how intuitive it is. Overall the device is just purely amazing. But the one thing that I have to say I love about this device over all other things is the quad-core processor. The Vita runs seamlessly and has had no lag what so ever, you can be in the middle of action in a game and switch over to add music real quick and there is no problem. Only thing I wish was that they had more games, they have alot out now but I only like a few.

Best Handheld Gaming Device
PostedMarch 25, 2012
This is the best mobile gaming device hands down. The vita totally detroys the 3DS in every sense of the word. The touchscreen is great just as good as an iphone. controls are solid and i like the tactileness of the PS buttons. the graphics are amazing. i also love the fact that there are a wide variety of demos on the PS store because games are expensive and you want to make sure you like them before you buy. my only problem with the vita is the price. i paid over $ 350.00 for the system, 8gb memory card (which is over priced and PROPRIETARY), and MLB 12 The Show. i feel like putting no memory in this device was very stupid on sony's part and they should bundle mem cards with the consoles. overall this is the best mobile console on the market and even though its pricey to get you started its well worth it.
