i got this off of the ps store on christmas. its a great game but not for everyone. first of all you have to get used to the walking. you must turn in the direction you wish to go then move forward. pressing right makes you turn right, not move right. next is the shooting. this is a key element to the game, and is weird at first. you aim with R2, and shoot with X. you can change it though. then there is the graphics. these graphics are updated into HD format, and look crisp, but the models are blocky. the texture is flat, and there is a lot of aliasing. but it is a ps1 game, so at that time, the graphics are decent, not the best. then there is the audio. harry can really get annoying always asking, "have you seen a little girl?". also, everytime a monster comes by, your radio goes off, which sound like someone repeadedly hitting a cymbal on a drum. then there is saving the game. like resident evil, you must find save checkpoints which are "disguised" as notepads. the story is pretty basic, but becomes more complex as you go deeper in the game, i wont spoil anything. you go to find your daughter, after you awake in silent hill after a car crash. you are treated by a woman named Cybil, a police officer at Silent Hll. from here starts your journey. lastly are the puzzles. the puzzles to me were extremely hard, and i had to look up almost every one. they are fun though. all in all, if you like old horror games, with a challenge, this is your game.
