As an artist...
I have to say, this tablet is horrible. 256 points of pen pressure? seriously? what is this 2001? 1024 is the BASE standard these days (even Wacoms 79$ Bamboo model has 1024 points. So you cant say its due to COST... because its not. Wireless? thanks, but not for my art tablet... any artist can tell you, never use wireless if you want precision artwork. And finally... Why add touch-response to an ART TABLET? the whole point is for the accuracy and CONTROL the pen input gives you. As far as ive seen... you cant turn it off while drawing either, which means you cant rest your hand on the tablet at all while you draw... NOW... if youve read this far before flaming me... GOOD JOB! Yes, this is a gimmick for children. Not artists. And thats who its marketed towards. I KNOW. HOWEVER... Oblivious parents, whose children want to be artists, will see this and think they actually might get their child something amazing for cheap... dont bother. go pick up a Wacom Bamboo for the same price (and better quality, functions) (or intuos if youre a cool parent) It doesnt matter what or who this is marketed towards... This tablet is awful. You might think 79$ is cheap for a tablet... it is! just not this one... this one is OVERPRICED based on the quality/features. Just steer clear of it altogether.
