I believe people are telling the truth about their experiences, but mine has been thus far pretty painless. I followed the directions and had no problems at all. I did not even have to recalibrate any thing. The games adjust just like they are supposed to when people of different heights step up to play the game.
The only thing I can tell people is make sure you have it on the Kinect correctly and snug.

I bought this product because it seemed like a great thing to have, especially since my room is barely too small to play my Kinect & I was tired of taking it to the living room to play. Once I attached the device to my Kinect & started it up, it no longer detected my hands! I was able to see myself in the image, but my gestures were all jacked up to the point that I could not play any game. Once removed, everything was all great again. BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT BUY.

Don't buy this product. I was so glad when i got it since i didn't have much room and thought this would help me out. Once I put this on my kinect it wouldn't recognize players at all. Went in and calibrated the kinect and noticed the camera was totally black picture, nothing was showing at all. took the zoom off and the kinect works great. don't buy this zoom.

First of all, who would want to play CLOSER to their TV... it would strain your eyes! Second, It doesn't even work what a piece of junk... did they test this? I saw it in GAmeinformer and was like... OH SWEET! Looks can be decieving......
