I bought this for my niece and nephew. I could not get my connect work with the zoom on installed. Nothing good I can say about it other then it is a good idea... just doesnt work!!!!

I bought the zoom because I simply didn't have enough space and my kinect has just been sitting in it's box for a while. In order to use my kinect I would have to move way too much furniture so I was excited about this zoom......well first of all I can't even calibrate it because the kinect isn't recognizing players. It appears to have a black space around the surface where it seems the zoom cut off the lens. On top of it all it scratched up my kinect (least of my worries) makes me wonder if this product was ever tested or if it was just a good theory that got thrown out to public as a joke.

I dont know how so many people are having issues with this?! I can only assume its because people are just putting it on their kinect and not going back through the tuner again to tune the kinect settings. I purchased this and reconfigured my tuner and its worked great! Also be sure to clean your kinect lens before just putting it on, a dirty lens will affect performance of it too. The only thing I noticed was a halo effect but it hasnt interfered with its performance as of yet and so far Ive tried it on 3 different games with success!

The room my xbox is in is very narrow so I was psyched to get this. However, the only good thing about the zoom was it was easy to take it back off. Even after recalibrating the kinect it just couldnt recognize me or my movements properly. It also seemed to blur images no matter how many times I recalibrated. The concept is great but poorly executed.
