It's a good game, really fun (the story should be longer). However I bought this version because it came with all dlcs, ONLY if you have a hard drive, if you have a small Xbox (4gig) like i do. DON'T waste your money to get the dlcs. The game comes with a second disc for the dlcs but if you don't have a large hard drive it says "you need to have a hard drive to install the content".

What a great storyline with a nice ironic twist! I can't wait for the 3rd to come out! For the price this is a no brainer!

Great story, voicing, memorable missions

This game is worth it for gamers who are into story, italian mob films, and character. But since this game includes the 3 additional story packs which includes Joe in two dlc chapters and Jimmy in one dlc chapter and four style packs, this will improve the game a little better But get the one with the platinum hits if you want that dlc. It is a sandbox game like GTA which you start in the 1940s than the 1950s,but its more linear and you won't have the freedom to free-roam, but you can still free-roam even if it says go to the next location or in the beginning of the next chapter and with the three additional story packs, you can free-roam as much as you want. The main character is good cuz of the fact that the story is just all about Vito Scalletta just went back to Empire bay after joing WWII for robbing a jewelry store back in 1943 and family, loyalty, friendship, betrayal, and so on. GAMEPLAY is that i enjoy it in a way that it feels like a mob game that you can blind fire and you can do hand-to-hand combat by pressing x and y and b to dodge i think, i'm not sure. You can sprint (infinately) and i like how you can go to a cop or phone booth and call the police to bribe a crime you committed. I also like the way you get busted just like in all sandbox games the busted part is one of the best parts, because in this game the screen fades blue and it says "You Are Under Arrest" and i like it when you are cause of the background music. The weapon selection is nice because i like how you can use the d-pad and you can pick whatever handgun, rifle, shotgun, etc and keep pressing right d-pad for handguns like magnum or revolver. It does has some good characters (just dont' expect gta-style), but in order to get into the game you have to watch all the cutscenes and replay the chapters in order to get into the game. The driving may feel a little weird but the more you play it you get used to it and you can turn on the speed limit if you want to. The open-world mainly doesnt have side missions so some of you might be dissapointed if you just want to go ahead and play for the story but you can find posters of women during missions. One of the interesting missions is when you are at war back at WWII, going to prision, fighting a loan shark trying to tell Vito's sister to payand you will see someone from the first installment. You can shoot at gas tanks and you can change. GRAPHICS look detailed and realistic that if you are driving a car with gunshot holes one one side, during a cutscene, you will see the car with gunshot holes. It captures the 1940-1950 era. Cars look detailed you can even go to the carcyclopedia in the options or main menu to see the vehicles. SOUND it has the music from the 40s and 50s era like Long tall sally by Little Richard, Bing crosby, Rick Nelson,Fleetwoods, "Tequila" byThe Champs, the Drifters, and more.It has the mafia, mob film feel and feels darker and more rea. LASTING APPEAL is very good and darker than the godfather games and might be better if you have played Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven on PS2 or Xbox, than this one might be better than the first one on those two systems, not PC, gunfight, story, and gameplay wise. Overall, just think of it as a sandbox game but only limited doing missions only kind of game and amazing story and music soundtrack. Its not as bad as it seems but for those of you that are interested, I would say its worth for both casual gamers that just want to play it for the heck of it and hardcore gamers for story, characters, and gameplay.
