A big let down, buy an xbox 360

The PS3 was a waste of my time and money. I got it for $250 instead of $300 but it still cost almost double than my xbox. I got home and tried it out and at first it worked but about a month later it started freezing up, not turning on or off, and making horrifying grinding noises and is loud after playing for a little while.My first xbox i had for 3 years never had a problem and my new slim is going on its second year without having any of the problems i've faced in about two months with my PS3. Also mainly all of the good games on PS3 are 30+ dollars whereas the xbox games can still be great any where from 2- 20 dollars. Also a big thing for the PS3 is free online, but it doesnt connect as well as xbox live and the good online for PS3 costs money too. There is also 2 kinds of Xbox live silver and gold. Silver alows you to communicate with friends, download game demos and do everything but play online. Gold allows you to do everything that silver does but adds online play, and the first 3 months are free then you can buy month by month for as little as 1-5 dollars or wait for a sale and get the whole year for 20 or 30 dollars.Finally the PS3 controler is junk. It's small, has a small wire range ,you have to sit 2 feet away from the system, the controls have to be manualy sighned in even though they are already connected to the system. and all the wireless ones cost an extra 55 dollars. The xbox controlers fit better in your hand and the wired ones have a long range and instantly sighn in when you turn them on. There is a reason the xbox 360 is the official #1 system in the world, if you dont belive me check microsoft's E3 presentation from this year, plus it has kinect and tons of new fun games are coming out for or that are compatable with kinect. If you havent bought a system yet and you're trying to decide, there's no competition GET AN XBOX, and if you already have a PS3 get an xbox too and compare them. PS most of the "exclusive games" on PS3 are basically doubles Halo and Gears of War. Also Infamous is very similar to Prototype. Personaly I like Gears of War, Halo, and Prototype much better.

I really disagree with this review but it all comes down to opinion I also think there's no reason to hate any system seriously I've seen people argue stupidly over whether which system is better well I've owned all three I've had the xbox 360 (which died on me because of the red ring of death i've had at least 4 of these 360's never bothered to buy a xbox 360 slim) I've had the wii which flat out had no good games to play and I recently bought a ps3 like last month time will tell if this system is the right one for me or not all systems have pros and cons so theres really no reason to take sides or down another system

great console it meets all my expectations except that the price is kind of on the high side. it meets all my requirements as a gamer. it has built in WIFI so you don't have to buy extra attachments unlike Xbox 360 where you have to buy everything even though its worthless.

A really great machine

I love this thing, I the picture and sound quality are unparalleled by the Xbox 360S (is there another console??). The console permits the highest quality of sound given your HTS. I drive some big, old speakers so things really thunder. I bought this box on a one day sale, $200 for the day, on the internet. At the current price, knowing what I do, I'd still go for the PS3 in a second, it's worth the extra layout. The blu-ray stuff is really nice, a total package.

this is so much beter than xbox ps3 rocks has better exclusives blu ray and is just awsome!!!!!!!!!!!:)
