Amazing. Simply amazing.

Not only does this headset look amazing; it sounds amazing. The different presets are really nice, even if you dont customize your own. I have had this product for 2 weeks. I have to change the batteries once a week which is a downer, but unless you play as often as i do, or use it as much as i do, you wont have this problem. I can use it with my iPad, phone, PS3 and 360, not to mention my tv too. Its basically universal. Gettig used to all of the buttons and their locations takes a little time, but once you learn them its a breeze. Overall this product is definitely worth the $300, if your a core gamer or have money to spend.

Hype be damned

I need to start off by saying I am a hardcore gamer. I have been gaming for 20+ years. I like tech and am at an age where I have the money to spend on "luxury" items and know enough to know when products are bogus.
I have purchased turtle beaches before. I was NOT impressed. The battery life was laughable (6-8 hours) and the "surround sound" technology did not work well at all. That was a waste of $300. Then I went and bough Astro A-15 headsets. They were $500-$600 and were sufficient, but I truly don't love them. So I waited until an upcoming product that would compete and the Turtle Beach: Delta's seamed promising. Most upcoming gaming technology is over hyped. With these headphones hype be damned. They blow the Astro's out of the water (and at $200 cheaper!).
Blue-tooth works flawlessly. I loved using it while playing video games. It was much more enjoyable then the exhausting neck-shoulder-hold.
There are many different setting that you can use that actually give you an advantage on the field. You will actually be able to hear footsteps better than you would be able to on a home entertainment system.
The best improvement though is the fit. They have a more 'snug' fit. While I still find the circular shape of the ear holes less aesthetically pleasing than ovular headphones (personal choice), they are no less comfortable. Also an advantage the mic boom swings/bends further and more easily, and it picks up much less residual/white noise. I don't have to mute my mic if I have my overhead fan on like I did with those super sensitive Astros.
If you have the money buy these headphones. I promise you will like them. If they are bugged trade them in for new ones. I can not see how people could give these headphones a bad review. Quality costs. Maybe the other models are just as high quality, I do not know, but price-tag fear is no reason to bash this product.

my problem isnt with your review its with your statement about astros. first off theres no such thing as astro a-15's, they just simply dont exist. second no pair of astros costs nearly $500... nevermind $600. I personally own astro a-40's and was trying to figure out whether i should upgrade. But maybe you should check your knowledge and what you "know" about a topic before you say something about it.

Wow! Worth every buck!

I've played about 5 or so games on MW2 with these and WOW - the footstep preset is awesome; it's the equivalent of having sitrep pro on permanently! Haven't had a chance yet to mess around with the other multiplayer presets.
Like as said, cannot wait to pwn in MW3....I'm definitely missing my 8am class for the midnight release.
