Review 1 for Santa Claus is Comin' to Town
I love Christmas classics like Rudolph, Frosty, and now they have santa clause is coming to town! The Rudolph game was awsome so i cant wait for this game!!
Well i'm guessing this will be a simular game to last years Rudolph the red nose reindeer. This will probly be a yearly thing for nintendo and crave entertainment. Well it will be a younger gamer game, and a good game for the holidays. But this should be a fun game for kids 6-10. Well any age for some gamers. Should be a good christmas game. I'm sure it will involve delivering presents, with some adventure. I'd reccomend it for holiday gamers. I wonder what christmas classic game will come out next year?
I bought this game because I like Christmas games....and this game offers that, sort of. To be completely honest, its not a whole lot of fun. I think the best part of the game is to read through the stories provided in adventure mode...but the stories are polluted with activities that get real repetitive very quick (and if you play through all 3 adventure stories, you'll notice that they recycle every activity at least 2 times per story - just with a different skin). If you can get past the annoying activities, then this game has that festive Christmas feel to it. There is a mode to play the activities freely, and I think they should have kept the activities in that mode instead of including them in the adventure mode. I would not wish anyone the torture of playing all 3 stories in a row...if you do plan on going through all 3, do them a day or so apart or else you'll feel like its a grind to go through the stories instead of actually getting entertainment out of them. The music is great, but its only 1 peice, and it replays over and over again throughout the stories, in a constant loop - thankfully they added in options that you can turn the music off. Overall this is an obvious cash-in on a Christmas classic....but at least its another Christmas game we can say exists, because there is not a whole lot of Christmas games out there. I'd seriously only recommend this to a Christmas-nut, video game collector, or to a parent who wants to give their young child a festive game to play during the Christmas season. This game is NOT BAD, but its mediocre compared to other Christmas games that are out there. I hope my input has helped!
