before buying this, i had a ds lite for about 5 years. i was intending to buy a 3ds since i saw one. I didnt have enough money back when it came out. it is really an awsome system and the 3d is great too. it has great graphics with 3d on or off. AR cards and face raiders is a crowd pleaser. and some of the other added on content for all to enjoy. everyone I have shown it to wants one now. the only bad thing about this system is that the battery isnt that great. other than that it is fine. But.......... one of the biggest problems (and it just recently happened to me after having a 3ds for 2 weeks) is that one of the pixels on my top screen went out. it is about the size of a pin and only really noticible at the main menu. idk what causes it but i take extra good care of my systems. just becareful on that though... that is one of my complaints. also read on another site nintendo is adding a second analog stick soon.

The graphics are awesome way better then the old nintendo systems. The price got slashed in half & sold all of my games (about 20 PS3 & WII games).

I bought this today with starfox and its awsome. All the functions you have on the ds is amazing and the color its really cool. I don't know if mine if defective or its broke but I've been playing it all day since I got it with out charging it and its still has 3 bars on the batteries. I'm glad I waited to buy this and I only paid 180.50 for both game and system

The DS Lite has always been my favorite out of the DS family. It's small and basic. When I found out Nintendo was coming out with a 3D system, I wasn't too interested. After I found out, however, that Kid Icarus and Ocarina of Time was coming out for it, I decided that I needed to buy it. With the great price drop, that's exactly what I did. Red's my favorite color and it's such a sleek console! It's pretty basic to use, too. Great bonus features that I didn't care for at first turned out to be amazing and the graphics are so awesome! Downside? You can play the regular DS games but not any from the systems before the DS. I was upset that I couldn't play my GBA games but it isn't too great a loss. I would definitely recommend this to people if they're a oldie gamer like me and likes the classics, plus all the other great games made for it!
