the worst cod by far

honestly i own every cod except the spinoffs. I think it was by far the worst in the series. Cod 4 had a great weapon balance and the gameplay felt fast and smooth. In MW2 the gunplay was ruined by the mechanics of the noobtube. MW3 is commonly called MW2.5. While I disagree, it's hard to notice big leaps in graphics. The graphics are very similar. Perhaps MW3 is what MW2 should have been. MW2 is infamous for it's nuke killstreak as well as it's buggy and unfair spawn system. Shooting red dots that just keep spawning in the same location is a joke. This game is not an average game, but not far below it. It's overrated at best and definatly does not hold up against other modern games in the series: Cod 4, WAW, Black Ops, or MW3. It's a shame that Infinity Ward didn't get it right and perhaps it was good that they pulled the plug on their leadership. The new IW has helped bring the MW franchise back so I suggest you get that game.
I also recommend Black Ops because it is still the second most played game on xbox and it's good if you get tired of MW3. The pace of it is different, but just as good.

i bout both call of duty 4 modern warfare and modern warfare 2. they were both great... but mw2 stuck with me because it has special ops to play after the campaign. next comes mw3.... but it probably wont be a good. cant wait
this game is the 7nth in the call of duty series and i think its the 3rd best this game may get annoying like getting noob tubed with a grenade launcher or getting hard scoped with a sniper rifle. the campaighn was fun and it is fun to play with 2 people offline i wish you could have 2 people playing online at the same time but sadly you cant. and special ops is fun to play with a friend overall i would recammend this game to a friend. but if you want a better game i would sugest call of duty:black ops or call of duty: modern warfare 3 i persanolly think there better beacuase you can play with friends online and both campaighns are better i think. but if you buy one you cant go wrong.
every single time i would play this game mw2, i would always get killed by everysingle rediculous reason. to me, this game is unfair with all the camping and nukeboosting. overall this game to me is for people who want to get a kill then die in two seconds. i would not recomend this but call of duty modern warfare 1 that is a good quality game.
