Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland

The small fishing village of Alanya on the Arland Republic's southern border is home to the young alchemist-in-training Totooria Helmold. She is called Totori by her friends and family, and she wishes to become a great adventurer. One day, she resolves to make the journey to Arland, become an adventurer, and explore the world beyond her hometown. She will make many friends along her journey of discovery - some new, some familiar. When her quest comes to a close, your actions over the course of the game will dictate whether she finds the answers to her questions, forge unbreakable bonds with friends, or take different paths entirely.

Better to buy Bundle Pack

Now Gamestop has Bundle Pack available for people. It's only 10$ difference and you get artbook with OST. I will rather buy bundle pack. NIS is giving a great deal. I hope their translation got better and trophies are added to it. I better finish with Meruru first and consider buying N.American version of Totori.

I bought and played Atelier Rorona, and Atelier Totori about 2 years ago. Now I am playing Atelier Meruru which is newest thrid series of Atelier series. It's been released several months ago in Korea and Japan. It's kinda hard to understand Japanese, but it worts it. I am big fan of GUEST. Atelier series always been one of my favorite JRPG games on PS3. However, I don't understand why Totori is coming out with about 2-3 year gap. I don't know when Atelier Meruru will come out in N.America. Maybe in about 2-3 more years? I rather play my Korean version. And I noticed that N.American version of Rorona had different setting for character such as Rorona's age in the game. Also, N.American versions don't have any trophies, while Japanese & Korean versions got tons of trophies for Rorona. I think these kind of small things makes me upset, but game itself covers it. I really hope that this time they will put trophies for Totori. I won't spoiler the story of Atelier Totori, but I think if you enjoyed Rorona you will enjoy this games for sure. For funny fact about Totori for Korean version was because of swimming scene in Atelier Totori, game got rated as Teen rated, while Rorona was All rated. lol

I've been waiting for this for 6 months! Finally a release date! The same day as Ico/Shadow Collection. Three great games in one day for less than $100. This is going to be a great exclusive RPG on PS3.

It will be interesting to see how Nis America, Inc, and GUST Co. improved in an already fun, exciting, and beautifully made game. Looking forward to possible changes in the battle mechanics and an even greater involvement in an already rich environment and unfathomable characters.
