Excellent game at a ridiculously good deal
Location: Hanover, Indiana
This game is perfect for: casual gamers
My roommate got me hooked on this game a week or so ago, and I was researching buying the games myself. I game across this deal and was absolutely FLOORED. I thought that I was reading the description wrong and I called gamestop before I bought it. It's what the description says, both games are in this bundle and all of the DLC. I have a macbook pro, and while the games take up a ton of room, it runs excellent on the windows partition. My roommate is actually considering getting this as well due to the fact that the pc version has mods and the consoles do not. Not to mention that the graphics are about ten times better than the console version.
The game series are good, and the offer is extremely good! i would recommend this to EVERYONE that enjoys playing Hardcore & Casual. to bad the full offer don't stand when im trying to purchase it from Norway. If the full bundle were available for me(Norway) i would buy it instanly and recommend it to all my friends(Even go as far as buying the games for them)
When I saw they dropped the price of this bundle to 10 dollars, I bought it quickly. I downloaded the game and waited 24 hours for the first game to finish downloading. Sad thing, I couldn't play it due to config error and it advise me to uninstall and install the game all over again. I did that and the error came back.
What I did to overcome this issue is that I went to EA website and install their Origin app, copied the cd key and Origin accepted it. It works now and everything is cool.
Dragon age 2 had a whole different issues when I tried to play it. First, it kept crashing on the intro play. Since I have windows 7 I had to change the DirectX from 11 to 9. That solved the crashing issue. Than another new issue came to be, it likes to freeze on the loading screen. How I fixed this was that I installed the 1.01 BETA patch than the 1.04 patch on the Bioware site.
Sadly I am still waiting for the 3rd install to be finished on the first game, so I cannot say if Origin fixed the problem. But if you use GameStop app you must have a certain amount of free space on your hard drive, Origin does not do that. So if you have limited space but enough to install those two both, go with Origin so you don't have to delete your other games like what I had to do.
Now for the gameplay (from the intro before the loading screen KO'd). Moving around is hard and I am not very used to it. Attacking a monster is even harder since the right click button does more than attack. Left clicking still does an attack but your allies will get in a way and you will switch characters. I love how they let you pick your choices out and your character speaks.
Remember, I only had time to play the 2nd game. The first is still being downloaded. But with all of the issues I had and have with this game, I won't buy it for 50 dollars. Lucky it was on sale so I am not too upset.

So I got to play both the games and they are working properly. It turns out that I don't like the first game very much. It seems to only give me the story line than anything else.
The 2nd game however is way better, looks better, and they have out did themselves by having the main character speak with a voice. I would highly recommend the 2nd game than the first.
