I got these on my birthday because my old one had recently broke. I really like the glowing affect, lighting up my room. The mic is a little too far away from your mouth, but my friends could hear me just fine. Other reviewers probably need Astros or Turtle Beaches but I recommend this headset to anyone who can get used to the design. P.S: I recommend to people with small/average sized heads. If you have a big head, this headset probably won't fit your head.

So I bought this headset today, and I'm using it on the xbox 360. At first, I look at it. Very lightweight and easy to handle. The headband is clear which is a nice feature. It fits snug on your head. The volume controls are easy to find on the mic (top). The earphone is comfortable. Which I love. The only downside is the mic, you do have to speak up a bit if the mic is pointed down close to your mouth. Other than that, it's a good product and I would suggest it to a friend.

i bought this because my brother bought one and he said it was pretty sweet. so i went out and bought the red one, and i brought it home and tried it out. my friends could only hear my when i was yelling in the mic. i didnt wanna do that all the time. plus it doesnt plug in with the chatpad if you have one. i would never recommend this item to a friend unless they love yelling all the time. THIS ITEM IS A KNOCKOFF PIECE OF TRASH! SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GET A BETTER ONE!!!!

As i read through the other reviews i noticed i did not have the sound problems as the other people had, i for some reason did not have to raise my voice but the mic itself does not keep its value mines broke in about a week even though i take good care of my stuff. Altogether do not buy this mic.
