This is a great game for those who want this kind of game. It's definitely not going to appeal to everyone but it is a great game for those it will appeal to. The game play is great and getting to play the game like it was with some updates. The limited edition extra is good too. I like the artbook, but it seems kind of off center (bent).

Fate Extra is a game that is aimed at a very particular group. If you loved the anime or an advocate of turn-based rpgs, I highly recommend the game.

Saber Extra and Her Master
Well I have to star with saying I love the game I always wanted to play it but since I don't Know Japanese I was never encouraged to Import a JAP version but when I heard Aksys Games decided to publish it here in America I was jumping of joy but anyways going to the brief review I have to say really this game is not for everyone I think is more pointed towards Fans of the Fate Series or Franchise in general but also for RPG lovers I've to say that the system or the interface of the game is not something that is going to change game industry but is fun enough probably the only two things that I have to complain about this game are #1 the Fate magazine was just available for online customers(seriously!!!!) second the game can become repetitive so be prepare other than that I'm really pleased with this game. PD: Aka Saber yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like all Fate series...it follows the rules of basic master and servant role play. I thought battle system was pretty unique but after playing for more than +8hrs into the game...it kinda becomes repetitive and you can see it as elaborated rock paper scissor game.... I don't know much about stories yet...still i would recommend this to all Fate fans out there~~
