I am a big resident evil fan.also I collect special,collectors$limited edition games.i still have my RE5 collectors I have everything but the game sealed.i'm looking to meet teammates who value fun over being SUPER competitive.i like to win but meeting people and having fun is more important.this game will be so much fun!fighting zombies 3 sided warfare!i GAD to get the special edition! My PSN:senseiscott looking forward to cool positive teammates and fun multiplayer games!!!
Yeah I agree, I definetely prefer to play with people that put fun & exploration as a priority. Not competition and exploitation. That ruins games in my opinion. I just want to have a good time with other fans of RE. Btw my nickname and PSN are the same

Please excuse any of my erroneous grammar.
I was actually intent on getting the special edition, sad that they removed it two weeks prior to ship. Oh well, I guess that saves me an extra $12. I've been told this rewards people's faith in the company? I have little to no trust with any gaming company and it's accustomed to hyping the cr@p out of everything before seeing any "real" gameplay, and little switches of game mechanics or additions between platforms. Which leads me to my next observation.
I thought there was going to be versus too, but according to this site and others there's only going to be 4-player co-op? What was with the hype of the multiple factions facing off then? Sad and misleading as always. Not to mention the 360 console gets a extra game mode just for being an owner.
The only reason I even bothered looking into this game was because of the original RE settings and a mechanic that is making come back from the Outbreak series. I am a long time fan of this series though I won't go and purchase a new console for every little thing that comes out.
For what is, the previous games are great 1-3/4 and the outbreak series. To be honest I believe more games should look into survival horror co-op with split endings, that's what makes you want to play it again.

i like the RE settings better than L4D i mean theres an actual story for all the characters and in L4d was pretty much like these are the survivors now go kill zombies

This game is absolutely terrific looking. Going back to all the basics, and the Raccoon City incident, will definately make a terrific game. Although there are a lot of skeptics out there, I say try it at least, because it IS a WHAT IF retelling of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemisis. Looks absolutely terrific. Cannot wait for this. Been so psyched up for this since last year! Only 12 more days!
I love that capcom improved every thing to movement,new characters,and better multiplayer. Getting to play as uss is a new surprise i never expected especially killing leon. I also think the special edition will be awsome with the case and dlc weapons. So if you wanna team up add me(sixaxis45)
