The game takes place during the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, and is set in Raccoon City, whose residents have been turned into zombies after an outbreak of the T-virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella... Blah blah blah blah blah...Operation Raccoon City will allow the player to make major "what-if" decisions such as killing Leon S. Kennedy.

Don't buy this cr*p. Graphics look horrible. i bet some company totally bought rights for this cr*p from capcom to make money. For us creeps who are now getting old now and had played resident evil 1 & 2 back in the day, we know this game coming out has no connection to the rightful re story. In resident evil 2, LEON arrives in raccoon city for his first day on the job at the rpd. he sees zombies. meets claire. gets into a car accident. and then goes straight to the police station. why doesn't capcom just REBOOT instead of this cr*p!!!! nintendo re1 was awesome and so was the prequel.

Im a huge RE fanboy, This game lets you play in the uss POV. people act like devs only make games just to make them, but they actually pay attention to character pov and what a character is skilled in. When leon,jill,chris,claire enter the zombie infested streets of raccoon city they had no idea what they where dealing with so it makes it a very scary thing to encounter these creatures that where once people. now the uss know what they are dealing with and how to handle it which makes them trained and not afraid of the virus. just be happy it's a spinoff and RE6 is coming this year. the devs never said it's a survival horror but a shooter with trained uss members. if you don't like this game or you will not buy RE6 then you can always turn to the real milked game in this earth called Call Of Duty. =)
I get where you're coming from that this is far from what made the originals good, and I agree but, the game is a spin off so everything that happens doesn't affect anything we already know about the series, personally I like it for a spin off but if it were Resident Evil 6 which it isn't then it would be a completely different story you and I both know the game wouldn't sell then.
