I have never tried the circle pad pro on my 3DS but ive heard it id a good accesory. The games i think it is good for is Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D in the game button assignments are confusing so it is preety useful. Im not so sure I would use it for Resident Evil Revelations and for upcoming games im not sure if theyll let you use it for games like Kid Icarus Uprising, Luigi Mansion 2 and Paper Mario 3D. Plus you cant use it on any of the previous games that came ot for the 3DS like Super Mario 3D land, Mario Kart 7, Legend of zelda ocriana of time 3D, Starfox 64 3D and Pokemon Rumble Blast.
Good games to use it for are for Resident evil revelations (Move and shoot at same time plus swimming is Immensely improved with the CPP) Snake eater, Kingdom hearts:dream drop distance, and the CPP provides better lefty controls for Kid Icarus (you don't need it for lefty controls though just more improved.) Plus while it isn't confirmed there is a likely chance of Luigi's mansion 2 being compatible seeing the originals controls.

I bought this off gamestop online last week. My 1st impression with the circle pad pro: it's like playing resident evil much more easier with the extra analog stick (or circle pad) and some few extra buttons. The design of it is pretty attractive and it's not that big when you hold it in person once the 3DS has been placed on the circle pad pro. The downside is there's no way to swap games without having to remove the 3DS system from the circle pad pro and swap games (not a huge deal for me because I'm not the kind of boy who swap games pretty often). Overall: totally recommended it, pick it up & for the price, what more do you expect.

I bought the Circle Pad Pro with Resident Evil Revelations, and it is worth every penny. The Circle Pad Pro gives you all the controls of an Xbox 360, minus the LS/RS when you click the analogs. When playing Resident Evil Revelations, the controls are a lot smoother, for instance, you can walk around with your gun readied, which you can't do without the extra circle pad. The Circle Pad Pro slides on, uses its own AAA battery, uses a wireless link, and is easy to remove. The one bad thing about it is I had to remove my Nyko add-on battery, but i am overall satisfied. Keep in mind MGS Snake Eater 3D, Kingdom Hearts DreamDropDistance, and Call of Duty 9 will most certainly all require the Circle Pad Pro, and for $20, it is definitely worth it.

Ok so I was definitely apprehensive at first to buy this, because I usually do not like additions to systems because they are bulky and do not feel right. But when I got this it felt right and my hands do not cramp after using the 3DS for hours. A GREAT ADDITION, I RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE :)
