It worked well for about a week or two, then the problems started popping up. The left analog stick would occasionally bug out and stay in one direction. The X button would also stay down most of the time you pressed it and then it started doing this really loud and annoying clicking noise every time I pressed it. The L2 and R2 buttons would also only work if you pressed the outer edges.

I bought this controller so I could have two. It was great at first. However, after two weeks or so, it became awful and I have no idea why. It literally disconnects from the PS3 system for no reason and we have to take out the chord and put it back in. It's so annoying. Please save yourself the money and don't buy it.

IDK what these other reviewers are talking about. It's a great controller for the money. You save about $30 (enough to get another game!!) and still get the same feel as using a Sony PS3 controller. That's the best part for me. Too often the generic controllers are like trying to play a game while holding a shoebox! The only knock I have is that it is a wired controller but the cable is like 9 ft long. Definitely long enough to sit across the room like I do. Great controller, I'd get another one if I ever needed to.

Does it really? i need a new controller for a good price and all the ones i found in the price range says has problems with it and i want to make sure before buying it

Stiff, uncontrolable, uncomfortable. It's just bad. Save your 25 dollars for something worth it.....
