From Dust(TM)

"Discover a unique Modern God game where nature is the star: From Dust, the latest original concept by Eric Chahi, visionary creator of Another World. Behold the beauty of a primitive world and face the might of nature. Beware the danger of a constantly changing world under your command. Control the destiny of a tribe struggling to survive and help it recover its ancestors' lost powers. Immerse yourself in a world as exotically beautiful as it is dangerous. A universe where Nature reclaims what is Hers; and you are your people's only chance of survival."

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
When I first heard about this game I thought it was a dream come true. Having power over the elements is something I thought would never become possible in video games. I enjoy the story line as well as the ability to create land and in essence life. I also enjoyed the creative ways to allow or help players destroy land. At first the game was pretty easy to understand. And it didn't take long to get a couple of levels through. But when they introduced lava that's where I had a problem. We all know how lava is, so you can understand why that would make a level difficult. Even more so when every time you create new land and link it with a village. That new land grows flowers and trees. Making it easier for a fire to spread from the volcano to the village. Plus on top of that you have to worry about tsunamis. O_O All in all it seems like the ultimate test to conquer the elements. I wish the game had been a little longer. Especially since I found the first couple of levels to be quite easy. The last level is the most challenging, as well as my favorite part. It would have been nice if there was a wider range of animals after you spread a certain amount of wildlife around. I think one thing that infuriated me about this game was the little people. I would send some off to start a new village or something. But for some reason they would always have trouble getting there. Even after I made a special path for them to take. They would go out of there way to take their own path. And after playing on one specific level you'll realize you don't have the time for them to find out how to get to the village on their own. I think if they make a sequel or similar game. They should add a feature where you could plot the course for the people to walk. I think this is a game any one can get into, although I wouldn't recommend it for parties since it's a single player game. And it might not be all that great if you're looking for a fast paced game. I think it has great replay value. There are definitely some levels I want to play over just to see if I could have done it better and faster.
