This game is perfect for: party gamers
so when i first played this game i was like cool, new guns, new story all seems good. so when i finished the campain i decided to try multiplayer where i was kind of irritated by the fact that it wasnt very good. first the knifing is terrible, i once watched this dude try to knife someone while ddefusing a bomb and it was like he was knifing a wall ! nothing happened ! and you can be shooting someone before they even see you and all of a sudden they kill you automatically, i dont know if that was lag or what but it was some bull and i never played mp again. but the zombies is pretty cool, although i wish there was still the classic mode like on kino der toten from black ops 1. buy this if u like a cool story mode and zombies ignore the multiplayer.

This the worst cod yet, even worse then mw3! Im not a big fan of call of duty but I did like the orignal black ops so I thought that i'd give it a try... sadly it made mw3 *the worst cod before this one* look like the best game in the world. The maps are terrilbe and the 2025 setting does not work well. They even ruined zombies turning them into a laughing joke *my favorite thing about black ops 1 is zombies* This game might hold your attention for a short while but you will probaly find yourself trading this in for the 15$'s that gamestop gives you. I highly recomend if you like call of duty to keep playing mw1, black ops 1 or even.... mw3 and leave this game alone. Battlefield 3 and battlefield bad company 2 are much better games as well. Don't make the mistake do not buy this!

This game is perfect for: kid gamers
bo2 is just a dumb game. Bo2 is just a repetitive game of blacks ops 1. There just a few slight changes in the game. The story is also boring. I played it 2 times to see if I would have any excitement but nothing happen it just is bad. I honest wouldn't waste a dollar on this game. You want to play a good game play battlefield 3, killzone 3 or any of the killzone.

This game sucks so much its un explainable. The multiplayer is at an all time low. With shotguns, snipers, and pistols ruining the game with quickscoping, what seems to be unlimited range shotguns, and 2 shot kill pistols its imposible to just jump on and play for a couple games with out raging yourself into insanity! Also the constant lag just puts this game over the edge into the worst game i've ever played. The horrible new maps degrade the already terrible game. Zombies and the campain are decent. But the multiplayer just makes me want to snap the disk in half. I woundn't wish this game on my worst enemy. If you want a good COD, go buy MW2 for 8 bucks.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
I've been playing cod every other day for years. I was sucked in from mw2, but i played and owned world at war,mw3,black ops 1 and this one. And all i have to say is the product's quality has been going down hill. The story in this one is the worse one to date, the characters are not memorable at all. Only thing i like was you do make some choices that do effect the ending, but u wont care much about these ppl so it really doesn't matter. Now lets talk about multi player, that's what everyone is here for. Zombies is fun, I'm not a huge fan of zombies but if u like that game type, its here and still great. But this cods multi player is the weakest out of all the cods, don't get me wrong i played it for months , i got a good k.d. but its not fun to play, so i don't sound biased let me tell you why before you run out and waste your money. 1.score based matchmaking,okay this is the first cod to have it, it means that you play with people who have the same skill level /or are harder than you. Sounds good on paper, but its horrible, not to mention ppl bypass . So that means if ur a good player eventually there will be no new people in ur games, only ppl ur skill level or way harder! So u never get those insane scores or fun time anymore. U just play with ppl who r just as good, which means theyll get frustrated,want score streaks,so theyll camp .sigh. 2. No more killstreaks.now its score streaks! Okay at first this sounded fun, u didnt have to only get kills, but when u do the math ,all the streaks in this game take more kills to get. In mw2 u get a pred missle with 5 kills, easy. In this i takes more bcs kills r only 100 points.plus ull be trying to add up points in ur head while playing online so ull just die...3) internet connection preference. Okay in this cod u can set ur internet to all,normal,best for ur connection type, but the problem is everyone sets theres to best so ppl with Kmart connection end up in ur games and lag uout of it.4) the online . Its bad. After all the patches the guns statics make no sense, its laggy, u will have bullets fly around corners and kill u,u need to play with lag compensation,ppl use the cheapest tactics to win, lmgs,target finders(a scope that tells u where ur enemy is by marking them with a bright red square) , the recoil on the guns is so bad i just got sick of it. Then the icon maker is a problem, all these kids just have explict icons. 5) deathstreaks are GONE! U rember in modern warfares when u started to do poorly they would give u a deathstreak to try to bring u back into the game? Well tryarch threw it out. 6) every dlc is overpriced, and map dlc just gives u laggier games. Okay think about it its cool to have more maps but not alot of ppl buy dlc, so u will only be in matches with ppl who bought the same map packs as u..... if u need this game just buy the pre own, try it for a couple days so if u like it u can keep it, but if u dont u can return it up to 7 days and get ur cash back. I sold it to game stop a couple months ago. And bought the $10 mw2 and i havent looked back.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
This was no ordinary Call of Duty game you might expect. Unlike the other games in the series, this game had so much more. There were multiple endings, so if you wanted variety, this is the CoD game for you. The zombies mode was great, and the DLC is just making it better. The multiplayer is also amazing.

Black Ops 2 is another good game from Treyarch. If you like the Call of Duty series you will love this. Unfortunately this is a sign of decline. The story was a sequel to the first Black Ops which had an awesome story. The story fell flat with some new lack luster integration's. The multiplayer is the same as Black Ops. The pick ten system for classes is good but misleading when they say no two classes are the same. The cost of wild cards and extras funnel the player back to basic classes to utilize equipment. All in all this is a great game.

For all who are still deciding if you want by this game well you should. This is the best call of duty yet and probably ever to be made i have played almost all the call of duty's but this one stands out. The zombies mode is fun. I played zombies with most of my friends and it was a lot of fun. The multiplayer is addicting and exciting. The campaign though is the best campaign yet but is boring compared to the multiplayer and zombies. Hope this review helped enjoy gaming guys.

if there was know zombies it would probaly be a 5 for rating because u get to level up in zombies and that is the only thing they needed and the online gets pretty boring because im not that good and i prestige in a week but if ur a call of duty fan then i would recommend this game but if ur not get borderlands2 or wait for destiney

So I started playing COD games back when the original Black Ops came out and it was really good. But now, they just ruined it with more overpowered guns, outdated graphics, terrible bullet lag, and horrible spawning and just overall poor multiplayer. I had more fun with the campaign. Battlefield 3 is nearly 2 years old now and is better in every way, so people can't say BO2 is a "good" game.

Worst call of duty to date

This game severely disappointed me. The guns are overpowered; snipers are too good; and frankly, the maps all are terrible. Every map is a giant cluster of people, and when the kill in two shots, it's impossible to stay alive. I started in mw2, and it's safe to say that black ops two is my last call of duty. The only way I can see call of duty reviving itself is by going back to the old days, where the game was simple. O well, r.i.p. cod!
