Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist

The United States has a military presence in two thirds of countries around the world. A group of 12 have had enough and initiate a terror ultimatum called the Blacklist - a deadly countdown of escalating terrorist attacks on U.S. interests. Sam Fisher is the leader of the newly formed 4th Echelon unit: a clandestine unit that answers solely to the President of the United States. Sam and his team must hunt down these terrorists by any means necessary, and stop the Blacklist countdown before it reaches zero.

Co-Op Hells yeah

My GF and I love the Splinter cell series, and love being able to play games together, so we like co-op, the co-op in conviction was amazing, and in CT wasn't that bad, but in Double Agent, it wasn't there for the 360, which the box clearly stated that it has. Anyway, I digress, I dod some digging and found that Blacklist will have offline Co-OP, so I'm going to be getting this game for us. granted, she calls the different iterations of the games the same name: "Spy Game". But this looks like its going to be amazing!

Sounds like it'll require no skill again.....

I was a hardcore Splinter Cell fan back in the original Xbox day. Played all of them and loved them. Trying to get through the level without sounding any alarms. Timing your shots just right to not get spotted. None of this assisted aiming/mark your targets junk like Conviction had. I'll read reviews after the game comes out to see what the gameplay and controls are like. If it's like the original, I'll buy it. If it has this new assisted aiming junk I won't be buying it. Conviction was boring to play and required absolutely no skill. Mark your targets, execute. Mark, execute. What's the challenge in that?

The fact that two Tom Clancy games are coming out being "Rainbow Six Patriots" and Splinter Cell Blacklist" has me excited beyond belief. This game has done nothing but satisfy everyone who plays it. I am a little annoyed that same fishers voice won't be the same but its not enough to make me not get the game. The graphics engine looks incredible and once I get it in my hands I just won't know what to do with myself.

So i have been a die hard splinter cell fan sense i was roughly seven although i was to young to play them i was allways watching my older siblings play them through witch at the time was like watching an epic action movie but when i was finally old enough to play them myself i started out with pandora tommorow wich was awesome and the i bought conviction and was thoughly dissapointed with its lack of military substence and just felt more like a run and gun shoot out but now your back at or should i say now at "4"th eshilon and it looks like there bringing back the military aspect and i cant wait!!!

It's not Splinter Cell without Michael Ironside as the voice actor, he's what made the character Sam Fisher. If you are going to replace the voice, then you should have at least retired Sam and introduced a new character. i been a fan senses the first Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell for xbox

Following the events of Splinter Cell: Conviction, President of the United States, Patricia Caldwell officially terminates Third Echelon and orders all their current operations grounded immediately. President Caldwell chooses to replace the corrupt agency with the newly-formed "Fourth Echelon" - an elite team of operatives, drawn from different agencies, that operate in a mobile environment and travel the globe performing individual missions assigned by the President. Sam Fisher is formally appointed acting commander of the agency.
While Fourth Echelon conducts their primary mission of shutting down all Third Echelon activities, a group of twelve rogue terrorists initiate a terror ultimatum called "The Blacklist" - a deadly countdown of escalating terrorist attacks on United States assets.
Fisher and his team must now track and hunt these terrorists down, by any means necessary, and stop the Blacklist countdown before it reaches zero.
Along with President Caldwell, Blacklist sees the return of Anna 'Grim' Grímsdóttir, and will include the addition of new characters named Isaac Briggs and Charlie Cole.

The only Splinter Cell video-game that I've played so far is Splinter Cell:Conviction. That game was very well constructed, but it left me wanting more. I don't know if this game is going to be very popular, but to me, it looks like a must buy.

Splinter Cell: Conviction was a great addition to the series! Hopefully, this one will see the same or even better success. It's awesome that you can now move while using the Mark and Execute feature. Killing in Motion is what they call it. You can also use Kinect for voice commands. I look forward to Sam Fisher's next adventure!

This is going to be better than the other ones.the graphics are very detailed but not just that they upgrade the sonar goggles so you can see better and more brighter. there is going to be suit customization and your going to have way better weapons from conviction and the other.I just pre ordered it last month and i hope the bonus content is the upper echelon pack which comes with the upper echelon suit, goggles with gold and the aral sea coop mission.

I hope this is on platforms other than 360 and ps3. These systems are fine. They are definitly not my favorite. I like my GC more than these. It is possible (I'm not making this up right?!) for this to be on pc or wii u a year or less maybe after the first release.

Sweeeet... can not wait for the next installment of Splinter Cell. After Chaos Theory (3rd installment of SC) I was hooked. It was so far ahead of its time its still worth playing and Conviction set the bar for character freedom within a map. I really appreciate being able to approach maps from an infinite number of ways and scenarios instead of being led down a certain path, makes the replay value awesome. Nothing else really comes close to the the map detail and character movement and control that the SC series offers. Gonna be a long wait.

I love the Tom Clancy's series mostly because the stealth and the way that you get to use the environment to your advantage. I personally thought that "Splinter Cell: Conviction" was fun the first few missions and that it had a great story to it that kept the Splinter Cell series in line and it acted as a great big story with an exciting squeal to every game in the series. But to say the least Conviction probably was one of the most anticipated but also the biggest let down. This game was all about killing, killing, and killing. It did not have anything like the prequels in the series. So I'm still not convinced on getting Black List but i guess ill have to wait for it to come out and read the reviews.

Since the beginning of the franchise I was Fan of Splinter Cell for the adrenaline of the game to be stealth and tried to get the objective without sound any alarm and not been notice in the scene of the crime. But Splinter Cell "Conviction" was a totally different game and disappointed, it was just kill, Kill and Kill. If the new one is going to be same way of Conviction is not a point to buy this game...I'll be waiting for the comments after the release to see if I'm going to buy it.
