MLB 2K13 is the same as 12. The only difference is the updated rosters. If you really want baseball get a PS3 and buy The Show.

I've played this game for a few hundred hours already, and I will continue to enjoy it throughout the 2013 MLB season. The pitching controls are still top notch; the commentary with Gary Thorne, Steve Philips, and John Kruk is thoughtful and caters to individual accolades of many of the players in MLB.
This is the most bug-free, smooth version of MLB2K to date, and I've played through the entirety of My Player, Franchise, and have logged several matches online. Each mode works incredibly well, and all of the achievements are fun and some challenging to obtain.
I would recommend this game to all who enjoy baseball! The game is great for beginners, all the way through experts, featuring modes Rookie through Legend. You can even tweak the difficulty to your liking, and it doesn't effect achievements.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
Ok... 1st off I have always been a fan of the MLB 2k series....yes I'll admit MLB The Show kills 2k... BUT us Xbox gamers are stuck with 2k... With that being said... DO NOT buy this game. Yeah I wasted 60$ on this.... Traded it the same day and only got like 36$ in return... This game is the same exact game as 2k12 (which was a great game), but they seriously didn't upgrade anything at all. Heck they didn't even change player's pictures from their old to new teams... My advice, buy 2k12 and just make the roster trades yourself, OR at least wait for a price drop on this game... But really, i hope 2k just sticks with basketball games (they're amazing) and discontinues their baseball series.. Maybe EA Sports will make a 2014 baseball game? Or anyone else but 2k??

This game is fun for just a pick up and play game.but its flaws start to show when you get into its gamemodes. franchise hasnt changed much in the last for years its the same as last year.My player is still fun.if they produce another 2k baseball game next year i hope they try to make meaningful improvements.

This game took me by surprise! It is like 2k12. But I like it. I don't see why people are always hatin this game. It's actually really good. I just wish the nba people would help the MLB people with the game modes and other tings.
