My first ps3 was the slim. Even though I traded that in to get the Wii U last year, I could not pass up on this deal. I ended up trading the 360 for this and couldn't be happier. First look at what your getting. You are getting all the GOD of War games. Now if your not a fan of the series, this may not be the right PS3 bundle for you. I know there is a white one that comes with a year of PS+. I mean you are getting 6 games, a 500 gig hard drive, an awesome blu ray and 3D blu ray player at that, online that is free. Yes the ps3 is red and that may throw you off. I thought it would as everything electronic is black. But honestly I kind of like it. What has changed with this version of the ps3 (which is now the super slim) is it no longer has an auto load for the discs. It now has a sliding hatch at the top that you put the games in. This actually I like better. You also get 500 gigs of space. Yes the games GOW 1,2, 3 and GOW Asscensions does come in a cardboard sleeve and GOW Chains and Ghosts are digital, which did expire in March? I don't know for sure if you buy it now if that date has been extended, but Sony does have an awesome customer service line. I know when I was trying to register my new ps3, for some reason the website wouldn't take the s/n, but I called Sony and they did it for me and also disconnected my previous ps3 for me. SO who knows if once you register it, they can some how give you the codes or who knows, maybe that date was supposed to say 2014. Either way, again, do not pass up on this bundle.

In order for me to part with this kind of money, i have to see myself using all the functions of the system, and for what you get with this system it's a steal. For starters, you get ALL the god of games, plus dlc codes for 2 bonus characters for playstation all stars battle royal, zeus and isaac clark.. The system has colossal hard drive, 500 GB, just let that number sink in, thats alot of data, and plus it has a blu-ray player. It is worth every cent you spend on it

All i can say is wow. Just traded in my xbox 360 that I had owned for 6 years in for this amazing bundle a couple hours ago and haven't looked back yet! As a first time PlayStation 3 owner, I can't wait to finally enjoy this brand new system and beautiful bundle with one of the greatest video game series of all time, God of War!

I sold my ps3 white bundle to get this one and I don't regret it, for me this one is better the only thing I didn't like is that 2 games need to be download but besides is perfect!

I decided to invest in a new ps3 so i decided to preordered this bundle at gamestop. the price seems pretty steep, but its a new console and with a hefty hard drive and 6 great games. so i figured it would be fair deal. once i got it hope and opened it i was immidiatly dissapointed by one and only one thing. the games came in little cardboard sleves, no actual casing. needless to say i wasnt happy. im a big person on having the actual casing and hard copy of my games and movie collections kept nice and tidy in their ORIGINAL cases. some may think this is a frivolous argument, but they way i see it is that if i'm droping 350 bucks (almost 400 after tax) on a bundle, the games should at least come inside of standard casing, it was a big dissapointment. if i knew i would have just bought the white ps3 that comes with a year of playstation plus (which i will probably end up buying anyways for 50 bucks) and god of war ascension and the saga seperatly. but that is just my own opinion. if you dont mind the cases, and already have playstation plus, i would just pick this up. and to anyone wondering the god of war: orgins collection is a download. the other games are spread across 3 disks.

I picked my system up today and it looks great. Got everything promised. Only thing I don't like is that none of the games included come with the case or the original artwork. Three seperate games, and each come in a piece of cardboard? Why cheap out? Couldn't they atleast have provided us with a real case for God of War Ascension? Don't care about the others so much, but I like to display my games out and keep them in a case so they don't get damaged. Now all I get is a cardboard sleeve to scratch my game up..not impressed with this...other than that, the system and game are great...just minor things that dropped it from a 10 to a 9...still got the preorder bonuses for the game..the champions pack...If my favorite color wasn't red, I would have bought the new White PS3 for $299.99 and purchased the game seperately. Only would have cost me $10 more and I would've received one year membership of Playstation PLUS(50$ value) for free. So if youre not big on the red color, and are planning on buying Playstation PLUS anyways, that might be a better deal for you...But atleast this way you get the original 5 god of war games as well...not a bad deal if you don't have any of these items Also the disc tray needs to be manually closed...theres a button that slides it open, but no button to slide it closed as well...again not a deal breaker would've just been a cool feature to do both...Also wouldve loved it if this actually resembled God of War at all whatsoever..Just a red color doesnt make this that unique. A nice god of war logo or KRatos on the top wouldve been great and looked great. Xbox 360 always does the better designs with the R2D2 console and the MW3 consoles along with the C3PO controller and the tomb raider controller and etc etc...already..overall i recommend.to any fan of god of war, or a PS3 enthusiast..
