GRID Autosport's features and tone have been shaped through consultation with the GRID community, professional racing drivers and the experts from AUTOSPORT magazine. This includes the return of an in-car view and the most authentic handling in a GRID game yet. Multiplayer racing is powered by RaceNet to deliver new challenges every week from launch and sees the introduction of all-new RaceNet Racing Clubs for online team competition. Party modes, Demolition Derby and competitive split-screen modes all compliment the game's extensive career mode and expansive core online game.

Fantastic Game!!! Another Win for Codemasters!!!
Location: Lancaster, PA
This game is perfect for: casual gamers
Don't listen to other reviews. This game has the perfect balance of Hardcore realistic simulator and accord fun style racing. It is ten times better than the original than the first Grid and 100 times better than the second Grid Franchise. The graphics are great, and even more phenomenal during night races!!! Very fun game to take a break from hardcore racing, but not drop all realism from the game. The gameplay is great, very long and difficult career, but the difficulty is adjustable, so it is a good game whether you're a novice to beginner. The A.I. cars are very good too. (None of this cheesy racing from them, the A.I. are just as hardcore as you are!) Must buy especially since its only $20 for a new copy.
I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A GRID FAN... BUT MUCH TO MY SURPRISE, AUTOSPORT WAS A LET DOWN. THE CINEMATICS REALLY (MAKE IT) LOOK GOOD, BUT COME TIME YOU START THE RACE AND YOU WONT BE THINKING THE SAME THING. THE GRAPHICS AND PERFORMANCE TO ME ARE A MAJOR PROBLEM. TEXTURING IS AWFUL AND THE FPS IS DRAMATICALLY LOW, TO THE POINT THAT IT FEELS LIKE A SLIDE SHOW SOMETIMES AND MAKES IT UNPLAYABLE. IVE ONLY DONE 3 RACES AND I ALREADY WANT TO TRADE IN. MANY TIMES I WILL FIND MYSELF COMING TO A CORNER, AND NEXT THING I KNOW, IM IN THE DIRT. ALL THIS TIME CODEMASTERS WAS FOCUSING ON THEIR PREVIOUS FLAWS, THEY COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT VISUAL QUALITY. I KNOW GRID 2 WASNT THE BEST, BUT IT PLAYS SO MUCH SMOOTHER. THE GAMEPLAY AND PHYSICS FEEL MUCH MORE REALISTIC THIS TIME AROUND AND THE SOUND HAS NEVER BEEN A PROBLEM. TRY GOOGLING THE REVIEWS ON THE GRAPHICS FOR PS3 AND YOU WILL SEE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE. IF THIS IS THE FUTURE OF GRID... I WILL STICK TO F1
Looks like GRID: Autosport is going back to its roots. GRID was an amazIng game. You had a team, you could hire drivers, there were many different series to race. it was so much fun. especially the endurance events like the 24 hours of Lemans. When GRID 2 came out, i was excited because GRID was probably one of my favorite racing sims on ps3 i had ever played, but GRID 2 was pretty disappointing. Now that you don't own a team, but rather just race on teams makes me so much happier. you can actually focus on just being the best racer in every event. Sad this isn't next gen, but still have a ps3 and pretty sure i'll be getting this day one. The fact that you can upgrade your cars as well is another new plus. Can't wait! Should hold me over until Driveclub and The Crew are released on ps4. :D
For a game running on last-generation hardware, GRID Autosport is certainly one of the best racing titles on the PS3. It's tracks and vehicles are very diverse, and the difficulty settings are adjustable to let the newest players jump right in and let skilled players like myself have a true challenge. In fact, this game has some of the best racing AI in a racing game that I have ever played. It looks great for the hardware that it's on, and is very enjoyable overall.
I have never been a massive racing fan but I must admit, this game looks pretty unique and interesting. GRID is an underrated series that deserves more credit. The pre-order bonus gives you a lot of cool in-game items so I recommend you go do reserve a copy. GRID runs best on Playstation!
