The Last of Us
Joel, a ruthless survivor with few moral lines left to cross, lives in one of the last remaining Quarantine Zones. These walled-off, oppressive cities are run by what's left of the military. Despite the strict martial law, Joel operates in the black market of the city, smuggling contraband for the right price. Joel is asked by a dying friend to look after Ellie, a fourteen-year-old girl with courage beyond her years. What starts out as a simple job to deliver Ellie to another Quarantine Zone, soon transforms into a profound journey that will forever change Joel and Ellie. As they trek across a post-pandemic United States, Joel and Ellie will encounter different factions of survivors that have each found a unique way of dealing with the infected humans, the lack of supplies, and the threat of other survivors. As Joel and Ellie struggle to persevere, they must learn to trust each other and work together in order to survive the realities of this new world. At its core, The Last of Us is about the bond that forms between Joel and Ellie - it is the story of love, loyalty, and redemption.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
From the start I was addicted to Joel and Ellie. Their characters were done perfectly to match the story. As the game went on, I couldn't wait to see what happened next. I kept thinking the game was going to end on a cliffhanger, but it kept going! Better get "Game of the Year" if not "Game of the Decade" just for the story and the way it is told and played out. Well done NaughtyDog!!!!! I rated it 9/10 just because I don't think any game is or can be perfect. This one is darn close though.

I freaking cried man. I'm a grown man and I cried like a baby. There are no words in the human language to describe this emotional masterpiece. I have never been so emotionally attached to a game in my life. To you people who are thinking about getting this game STOP thinking and go buy this game. This game has blown all my top 10 favorite games out of the water. No game in the world will ever beat this game not even BF4! Keep up the good work naughty dog.

This game is flawless. There. I said it. I have played slews and slews of games throughout my "gaming career" as you may call it, and no game has come close to the amount of enjoyment I got from playing this game. The story is brilliant, granted the "infected" storyline as a whole is sort of generic, but Naughty Dog does a superb job of making The Last of Us feel distinctly different than anything I've played, read, seen, or even heard of. The gameplay is incredible, and provides the player numerous ways to handle situations. Controls are easy to pick up, though they are very different than most other third or first person games I've played. Visually, the game is stunning, and is hands down the best looking game of our generation thus far. The music is something I haven't heard many people talk about, but I love it. It's very subtle, but it fits perfectly, and does a fantastic job of portraying the ever changing mood of the game. All in all, this game shot to the top of my favorite games list without ever looking back. There are simply no other games on the market that are as visually stunning, fun to play, and emotionally engaging as The Last of Us. If you're on the fence about getting this game, please for the love of God get off that fence and sprint to Gamestop or wherever to pick it up. You will not regret it. Most campaigns, story modes, etc. I only play once or twice at which point I'll grow tired. Not this game. Once you pick it up, it will be very hard to put down for a long long time.

OMG this game blew my mind, i knew being made by NaughtyDog that the game would be good but good just dosnt even begin to cut it this game is a master piece true art man, its one i would love to see turned into a movie if done right that is, anyways this game is just beast, its true survival no maps no HUD telling u where and what to do, limited ammo and health, u got to find or craft weapons and tools, it keeps u on edge theres all kinds of twists and dangers lurking weather its infected, other survivers or armed soldiers, the story really draws u in, characters really make u feel for them weather good or bad and when tragedies or drama happening it really hits u, i have never been so drawn into a game before atleast not the way this one pulls u in, words really dont explain it pick this game up today its worth it, i preordered the collectors edition and also got season pass and the collectors guied book over $100 into this game and i got no regrets its well worth the extra money, again great game dont miss out buy it now
